Start from the real map
Each city is built from open map data, then filled in by hand with the markets, churches, hotels and junctions people who live there would look for first.
Game studio
SimCityNova builds social life sims set in real places. Our first is Aba Life: the streets, markets and nightlife of Aba, Nigeria, in 3D, in your browser.
Our first game
Aba Amala Mma
A 3D social life sim of Aba, built from the city's real street map. Make a character, rent a room, pick a trade, and find your way from a face-me-I-face-you to a mansion. It runs in a phone browser. There is nothing to install.
Ariaria, Ekeoha, Osisioma, St Michael's Road. The roads and landmarks are where they are in Aba.
Seventy trades, weekly rent, markets to trade between, tents to rent, plots to buy, and daily missions.
Greet, befriend, call and visit. Spray money in the club. Go live on camera and receive gifts.
Cross the wrong person and Operation Crush comes after you. Run home in time, or call a lawyer.
How we build
Each city is built from open map data, then filled in by hand with the markets, churches, hotels and junctions people who live there would look for first.
Our games open from a link and are tuned for modest phones and expensive data. If it does not run well on the phone in your pocket, it is not finished.
Playing costs nothing. What is sold is optional, priced in naira, and never taken from one player by another.
Press, partnerships, advertising inside the game, or a bug you found. We read everything.
